Gotham Strikes Back

Planking is an activity consisting of people lying face down in an unusual or incongruous location and having their photo taken. It went viral on the internet as it sparked people to mimic the act, out of pure fun. Now a group of college students have found a way to improvise the act by planking themselves upside down and throwing in a cheesy classic Batman song. They call it “Batmanning”.

Their video has garned over 890,000 upload views on Youtube in just over 2 weeks. An act of doing something extraordinary and pleasantly surprising at the same time, this is something light hearted, fun, and which you would take 5 minutes off of your lunch break to watch and share with the rest of your friends. No wonder it’s going viral.
