In its third year running, Doritos’ Crash the Super Bowl campaign crowdsources online video ad submissions for potential TV airtime and cash prizes, and has been immensely successful so far.

For years, the Super Bowl has become a spectacle, in which the audience eagerly anticipate the ads. A light touch of humour with interesting shock value are present in all three ads, and what’s more encouraging for Doritos is that they are contributed freely by the public. Getting user generated content in the form of video submissions helps drive participation and engagement with the fans.
