Systems Administrator

We are currently looking for a system administrator with excellent skills and has experience in system administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for api server and website deployment,
  • Performs system backups and recovery,
  • Implement and maintain automated backend system routines,
  • Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity,
  • Implement and conduct security measures to protect production servers and confidential system data,
  • Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent, PhD in Computer Science a plus,
  • 3+ years of experience in system administration and web technology,
  • A good understanding of SaaS,
  • Fresh graduates with exceptional coding and system administration skills will be considered,
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills,
  • Experience in Python, Perl and Shell Scripting,
  • Proficient in a Unix/Linux environment,
  • Experience in Hadoop,
  • Knowledge and experience in databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, BekerleyDB, etc.),
  • Knowledge and experience in webservers and web development (e.g. Apache and Django),
  • Knowledge in Functional Programming Language a plus.
