Software Engineers

Our software engineers are master coders who are passionate about technology, and have a deep appreciation and understanding of algorithms and data structures.

As part of this team, you will be working on very interesting problems in numerous domains such as Distributed Computing, Information Retrieval, Data Mining, Natural Language Processing, and other cutting-edge Web 2.0 technologies.

This position is based in Singapore.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent, PhD in Computer Science a plus.
• 3+ years of direct software development experience.
• Fresh graduates with exceptional coding and/or scripting skills will be considered.
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent coding skills in C, C++, or Java, Python is a plus.
• Good scripting skills in at least one common language (Perl, Python, Shell).
• Highly proficient in a Unix/Linux environment.
• Strong knowledge of internet technologies.
• Fluency in one of the following languages: English, Chinese, or Japanese. Candidates with bilingual skills will be advantaged.
• Knowledge and experience in databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, BekerleyDB, etc.), especially in database tuning, analytical databases, and large-scale production databases is a plus.
• Knowledge, Qualifications and/or experience in either of these fields will be a plus: Web Analytics, Statistics, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Distributed Search, Distributed Computing, User Interface Design, Usability
