KIA scores with world’s first nail art animation

KIA’s Picanto competes in the small car segment. It introduces its all new Picanto by going really micro, creating the world’s first stop motion nail art animation.

25 days and nights. 900 fingernails. 2 hours of drawing for each nail. Sure there are a lot of great stop motion videos out there, but this one stands out by being fashionably unique considering the amount of detail on a micro level. Kudos to the effort involved as well — they really maximized their message in a small space and got down to what the Picanto is all about.

People are interested when records are broken, be it the fastest run a hundred metres on ice or the fastest time taken to eat a 12 inch pizza. When done right, creating something unique by establishing a record or doing something which others have never done, is a sure fire way to captivate your audience and spike viewership rates.
