Joseph Shih joined Microsoft in 2001 as Marketing Manager for product development and platform promotion. His main responsibilities included cooperating with universities as well as research institutes in Taiwan to develop new technology.
During his time in Microsoft, he helped build many co-research labs among several universities and Microsoft. In 2006, he was responsible for marketing Forefront, a new Microsoft security product. He became Senior Product Marketing Manager and was in charge of marketing all of Microsoft’s security tools. In 2008, as University Relations Manager at Microsoft Research Asia, Joseph managed research projects between Microsoft and research institutes in Greater China.
At Circos Brand Karma, Joseph holds a dual role of Vice President of New Product Development as well as General Manager for Greater China. His main responsibilities include not only developing business and new products to integrate new media services in Greater China, but also as a one-stop New Media service provider for customers.
Joseph Shih holds a PhD in Information Management from National Central University in Taiwan.
